Dakota Johnson Describes Working On 'The Office' Finale As The 'Worst Time Of My Life'
Expressing a sentiment shared by many viewers who mourned the conclusion of 'The Office' after its nine-season run in 2013, one of the series' co-stars is shedding light on her considerable unhappiness filming the finale.
During an interview on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers,' Dakota Johnson humorously labeled her time filming the mockumentary's finale as "honestly the worst time of my life."
"I loved that show so much and they were like, 'Do you want to be in the series finale?' and I was like, 'Of course,' thinking that I'd show up for, like, half a day," Johnson said. "I was there for two weeks, and I'm barely in the f*****ng show."
During the conversation, when Meyers, 50, inquired about the atmosphere on set and whether people were "super sad" about the show's conclusion, Johnson recalled that the vibes were noticeably off.
"They were sad and also there were weird dynamics that had been going on for the last 10 years," Johnson, 34, recollected. "And I'm coming in like, 'So excited to be here!' No one wanted to talk to me."
She continued: "I was in the background of all of these scenes, faxing things."
In a light-hearted moment, Meyers joked, "I had recently watched it, and it was some of the most believable faxing I've ever seen."
