Russian Tycoon Warns Tom Cruise About His New Girlfriend: Keep 'Eyes And Wallet Wide Open'
Tom Cruise has been warned to "keep his eyes and wallet wide open" after he reportedly made things official with his Russian socialite girlfriend.
The Daily Mail reported this week that the "Top Gun: Maverick" star, 61, is officially dating Elsina Khayrova, 36, after "growing closer" together over the past few months. Enstarz could not independently verify this information/
"It's well-known within Elsina's circle that she and Tom are now an item," an unnamed source told the outlet.
The pair attended the London's Air Ambulance Charity Gala Dinner at Raffles Hotel last week.
Despite arriving at the event separately, unnamed "friends" told the outlet that they have been spending considerable time together, with Cruise reportedly a frequent visitor to Khayrova's luxurious £10 million ($12.6 million) Knightsbridge apartment.
However, Russian tycoon Dmitry Tsvetkov, the ex-husband of Cruise's reported new flame, had a cautionary message for the Hollywood icon after news of the pair's romance surfaced.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, Tsvetkov, 43, emphasized Khayrova's alleged expensive taste and love for luxury.
"Irrespective of whoever she's with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste. Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open," Tsvetkov was quoted as saying by the outlet, adding, "I'm happy for her, I wish her all the best."
Tsvetkov alleged that his three-year divorce battle with Khayrova cost him £150 million (nearly $190 million). The Russian tycoon also claimed to have spent millions on Khayrova during their 11-year marriage, including almost $13 million on clothes and $2.5 million on handbags.
The couple's divorce proceedings involved a court battle over their multimillion-dollar estate, including a £23 million ($29 million) mansion on the Wentworth estate in Surrey, five London apartments totaling £18 million ($23 million), properties in Cyprus, and a £2 million ($2.5 million) Dubai penthouse, according to a 2022 Daily Mail report.
Tsvetkov also reportedly had art worth an estimated $13 million, including paintings by Picasso and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, as well as a car collection worth $6 million at his Wentworth mansion.
During their divorce proceedings, Khayrova, who claimed that her ex-husband was on the "'Kremlin's most-wanted list," was accused of hiding assets from Tsvetkov, including her handbag collection.
Khayrova was identified by the London Evening Standard as the daughter of Rinat Khayrov, a Russian member of parliament from Vladimir Putin's ruling party and former finance minister in the Russian republic of Tatarstan.
Tsvetkov, who was worth a reported $252 million in 2022, attributed most of his fortune to his earnings from his work as an art dealer and adviser for corporate takeovers, mergers and acquisitions. He reportedly also had a Graff diamond business and shares in a coal mine.
Despite Tsvetkov's comments, Cruise, who has been married and divorced three times, and Khayrova seem to be growing closer.
Daily Mail's source claimed that the pair have been cautious not to be photographed together to maintain their privacy.
But the actor and the socialite reportedly enjoy normal couple activities such as private dinners and strolls through Hyde Park.
Rumors that Cruise was dating Khayrova first surfaced in early December 2023 when the Daily Mail reported that the "Mission: Impossible" star was spotted "canoodling" with her at a bash in London's Mayfair neighborhood.
At the time, unnamed witnesses told the outlet that the pair appeared "inseparable" and that the star "seemed to be besotted with her."
On Wednesday, Cruise and Khayrova both attended the London's Air Ambulance Charity Gala Dinner, where Prince William was the guest of honor.
Khayrova looked stunning in a black evening dress, as seen in photos and a video she shared on social media.
Meanwhile, Cruise posed for a photo with Prince William, which the royal shared on social media.
The post on Prince William's page read: "Fancy seeing you here, @TomCruise!"
