Former President Donald Trump's Valentine's Day plans may not include a celebration with his wife, Melania Trump.

On Wednesday, Trump will hold a Get Out the Vote Rally in North Charleston, marking his second campaign event in South Carolina this month, South Carolina Public Radio reported.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Charleston Area Convention Center, according to a press release.

This follows the current Republican presidential frontrunner's similar campaign event at Coastal Carolina University in Conway on Saturday.

It remains uncertain if Melania will make an appearance at the upcoming Valentine's Day rally, raising questions about whether the couple will spend the occasion together.

Melania has mostly steered clear of Trump's reelection campaign, with her only official appearance being at the 2024 campaign launch at Trump's Florida estate Mar-a-Lago in 2022.

While her Valentine's Day plans for this year are unknown, during her time as first lady, Melania would spend part of this day with young patients at the Children's Inn at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

The visits, described as a "treasured tradition" by Melania, aimed to share love and kindness with the children undergoing treatment, according to a post on X, formerly Twitter, following her 2020 visit.

At the time, the Children's Inn expressed gratitude to the then-first lady for her time spent with the seriously ill children, including activities like decorating cookies and exchanging valentines.

In 2021, during her first Valentine's Day post-White House, Melania posted a tribute to the "brave" and "inspirational" children at the facility but did not mention her husband.

Despite her absence from the campaign trail, Melania was spotted attending two Mar-a-Lago events with Trump this month.

In one bash earlier this month, she sported a long-sleeve navy blue gown as she posed for photos with her husband and Israeli model Noy Tawil.

Melania was also seen at a gala hosted by one of Trump's fan clubs, the Trumpettes, at the exclusive club on Saturday.

During the event, the former president embraced his wife, who wore a black halter jumpsuit, before calling her "our great first lady" in a speech.

Last month, Trump addressed Melania's absence from his presidential campaign.

He told Fox News that she will "play" a role and that he relies on her for advice, though he hinted that she won't be as active as she was in previous campaigns.

Melania and Trump have been married for 19 years. They welcomed their son Barron, now 17, in 2006.
