Leonardo DiCaprio Allegedly Snubbed Kanye West At Super Bowl LVIII
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kanye West attended Super Bowl LVIII, but they allegedly did not greet each other.
The "Titanic" actor and "Gold Digger" artist have been friends for years. However, they reportedly did not interact at the event amid reports that West had been shunned by the Hollywood elites.
West arrived at the start-studded Raising Cane's Super Bowl suite to watch the game with his wife, Bianca Censori. DiCaprio was among the guests present there, but he allegedly did not acknowledge West.
An unnamed insider told Page Six that the pair exchanged nods. However, another source argued, "There was no interaction whatsoever" between them.
Another anonymous tipster claimed that West "came in for a few minutes" with Censori. However, they allegedly didn't stay there for long.
"He was just like a guy dropping into suites, like, 'Can I stick around for a minute? Can I get a free drink?'" the insider claimed.
West and DiCaprio have been spotted hanging out together over the years. The "Runaway" artist even performed at DiCaprio's birthday party.
In 2013, West and 2 Chainz put on a surprise show for the "Don't Look Up" star at his 39th birthday celebration.
When DiCaprio won an Oscar in 2016 for his performance in the action thriller "The Revenant," West congratulated him on social media.
"Finally!!! Our guy!!! We're so so happy for Leo!!!" West tweeted at the time.
DiCaprio was nominated four times in the past and had been the subject of various jokes online for nearly getting the award but not having it. So, his first Oscar for "The Reverent" was a big win, and West was fully aware of it.
Meanwhile, Hollywood celebrities packed on the Raising Cane's suite. Aside from DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Vince Vaughn, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, the D'Amelio family, Ashanti and Nelly, Diplo, Wayne Gretzky, Tiffany Haddish and more were reportedly there to watch the big game in Las Vegas.
Other reports alleged that Taylor Swift had West booted out of the Allegiant Stadium after former NFL star Brandon Marshall claimed on the "I Am Athlete" podcast that the "Anti-Hero" singer took issue with West placing himself in front of her VIP box.
However, West's rep denied the claim, saying, "This is a completely fabricated rumor. It is not true."
