Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, has broken his silence on the deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl victory parade and rally that killed at least one person and injured 29 others, including eight children.

Hours after the shooting, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end took to X, formerly Twitter, to share a message for the fans who were affected by the Kansas City, Missouri, incident.

"I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me," Kelce wrote.

Earlier Wednesday, his teammate, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, posted on X that he was "praying for Kansas City."

Mahomes' wife, Brittany, who joined her husband at the parade and rally, also released a statement via Instagram Stories, condemning the violence.

"Shooting people is never the answer," Brittany wrote. "Praying for Kansas City & America in general, this is rough."

The tragic shooting took place at the end of the downtown Kansas City parade and rally celebrating Kelce, Mahomes and the rest of the team's back-to-back Super Bowl championship.
