‘Hot Ones’ Host Breaks Up With Porn Star Girlfriend After Relationship Goes Public
It's a sad Valentine's Day for "Hot Ones" host Sean Evans and his porn star girlfriend Melissa Stratton.
TMZ reported Thursday that Evans called Stratton on Valentine's Day to break up with her because of the media attention they received after their relationship was made public.
The YouTuber reportedly told the adult film star that he wanted to keep his love life private and away from the public eye.
Sources told the outlet that Melissa found Sean's reason for breaking up with her odd because he always knew about her background when they started seeing each other. The latter reportedly invited the camgirl to several public events leading to the Super Bowl.
The pair's breakup comes just a day after TMZ exposed their relationship, and Stratton posted several photos of her and Evans on her social media accounts.
They no longer follow each other on Instagram as of press time.
When the breakup news circulated online, Stratton posted a video of her and the "Hot Ones" host inside a car and captioned it, "It's ok, I've got a better bald man to get spicy with," tagging her fellow adult actor Johnny Sins.
She also addressed their split via her Instagram Stories. She posted a screenshot of TMZ's article about their breakup and wrote, "Ok, well. Happy Valentine's Day to me."
In a follow-up, she reposted their video together and wrote, "Maybe I'm ready for that parody after all."
Netizens flocked to the comments section of Melissa's most recent post to share their thoughts about their split.
"[You] should have kept it private, but no," said one user.
A second netizen asked, "Bruh, how'd they already break up? I just saw they were dating like an hour ago?"
"Porn star who sleeps with hella dudes is upset a man didn't want that. Have some respect for yourself before you trynna date," someone else opined.
"Deep down, you know she's hurt. Maybe they actually were good for each other, but not surprised," a different netizen commented.
Meanwhile, some voiced support for Stratton after the publicized breakup.
"Why are only women shamed for doing porn? Or being sexually active? [I've] never seen the same outrage for male porn stars or male OF creators, which are literally 40%!" stated one netizen.
"Keep on doing you," another commented.
