Celebs Who Have Been Diagnosed With Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the second most common type of cancer in men after lung cancer.
The American Cancer Society estimates that 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, reaching approximately 268,000 new cases annually. According to 'Everyday Health,' around 3.1 million American men count themselves as prostate cancer survivors.
These Hollywood celebs have dealt with the diagnosis.
O.J. Simpson
Orenthal James Simpson famously known as O.J., was reportedly diagnosed with cancer, according to Local News 10 in Miami.
The news outlet revealed Simpson, 76, has already started the chemotherapy process in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Although Simpson is allegedly battling the diagnosis, he recently denied rumors of being in hospice care in a video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, saying "all is well."
"No, I'm not in any hospice, I don't know who put that out there but whoever put that out there I guess it's like the Donald say, 'Can't trust the media!' " he said.

Robert De Niro
Robert De Niro was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003 at the age of 60.
"The condition was detected at an early stage because of regular checkups, a result of his proactive personal healthcare program," his publicist said at the time.
The no-nonsense 'Casino' actor toughed through, continuing to work during his struggle. The actor, 80, who lost his own father to the disease in 1993, thankfully made a full recovery after having a prostatectomy in 2004.
Ben Stiller
'Meet The Fockers' actor Ben Stiller says he didn't have any family history or symptoms of the disease when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
"Taking the PSA test saved my life," he said on The Medium blog.
"I got diagnosed with prostate cancer Friday, June 13th, 2014," Stiller, now 58, said. "On September 17th of that year I got a test back telling me I was cancer free. The three months in between were a crazy roller coaster ride with which about 180,000 men a year in America can identify."
Warren Buffett
Warren Buffett, who announced his stage 1 prostate cancer diagnosis in 2012, labeled his cancer as "not remotely threatening" as he received his results early on during routine testing.
The American businessman and investor was 81 when he received his diagnosis. He is now 93.
After receiving 44 days of radiation therapy at the Nebraska Medical Center, he completed his treatment in September 2012.
