DJ Khaled took his love for his sneakers to another level during a recent Florida event.

The disc jockey was the featured artist on The David Grutman Experience event that took place in Grand Tasting Village, 14th Street & Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, Sunday.

When he arrived at the venue, he asked his security team to carry him so the sand wouldn't get inside his rare Air Jordans.

"I don't want to get my Jordans dirty. Can I get everybody to help me?" he said, as seen in the reel he posted on his Instagram account.

Following DJ Khaled's request, two men carried him from his car to another pickup truck that was only a few steps away, keeping his sneakers clean.

"Thank you, brothers. I appreciate you," DJ Khaled said in gratitude.

After the pickup truck got near the stage, the two men carried him again. This time, the distance was a bit longer.

After bringing him to the stage with his shoes free from sand, he thanked them again with handshakes and fist bumps.

However, the "Do You Mind" artist's gesture did not sit well with some netizens.

"Guards don't get paid enough for that," commented one netizen.

A second user wrote, "Them security guards were struggling."

"How about [you] wear some sandals and put on the Jordans before walking on stage?" opined another.

"Are you kidding me, bro? You can't walk? Those shoes are not so important that you will risk hurting someone's back just so you don't get dirt on your shoes. Crazy, bro!" stated someone else.

However, some commented on how it looked "funny."

"He is funny. Love him!" commented one user.

"DJ Khaled is a vibe," another person wrote.

Meanwhile, a different netizen said, "[I] love how you thanked them though," commending how the Miami-based radio hype man thanked his security team.

The sneakers DJ Khaled wore to the Miami Beach event appeared to be a pair of the $250 J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 "Rio," scheduled for release on May 22.

The Air Jordan "Rio" features a sleek color combination of black, solar flare and total crimson abyss. Its other details include a black leather base with elephant print overlays, a gradient midsole and translucent heel tabs.
