Venezuelan Migrant Brags About Living In America For Free: 'I Live Off Taxes You Pay Monthly'
An outspoken Venezuelan migrant has come under fire for bragging on TikTok how he doesn't "like to work because it gives me allergies."
Leonal Moreno, who reportedly resides in a suburban area in Ohio with his partner and their three-month-old daughter, shared videos where he proudly discussed his financial gains derived from street begging and the collection of government assistance.

"You came to the United States to work, and I came to vacation, look at the difference," Moreno said in a video posted on Feb. 21. "You and I didn’t come with the same purpose. You came to the United States to pay the taxes that you didn’t pay in Venezuela."
Moreno posted another video the same day, admitting, "I confess that I don’t like to work because it gives me allergies. You work, I don’t, but in the end, neither of us have money. They keep criticizing us because I live off of taxes that you pay monthly."
The migrant, who has nearly 300,000 followers on social media, also urged others to support a 15-year-old migrant who allegedly shot a tourist in Times Square.
"I invite you to look for [his] mother and all of us join to pay the bail, so that this young Venezuelan feels that you're not alone in difficult times, but remembers that there is a God up there who sees. Today it could be him, tomorrow it could be you...He did something wrong, it's okay," Moreno said. The video has over 2 million views.
Moreno continued," An entire nation [is] on top of him instead of helping him — remember that the young man is going to be released. And he will be released, do you know why? Because he's underage."
"You don't know when God is going to put you in a situation like the one this young man is in," he said.
Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa, who is currently being tried as an adult, is being charged with two counts of attempted murder. The New York Post reports he allegedly tried to steal from JD Sports on West 42nd street before shooting a bystander and shooting at NYPD who was pursuing him. He is currently in custody with bail remanded as he was deemed a flight risk, CBS News reports.
"Let's unite forces so that this child can be free and has an opportunity," Moreno continued.
