LOOK: Woman Uses Shazam To Look Up Taylor Swift’s Song During ‘Eras Tour’ Concert
A video showing an audience member attempting to Shazam one of Taylor Swift's songs during her concert in Sydney went viral on TikTok.
In the viral video clip uploaded by @nessatlx on the social media platform a few days ago, a seemingly middle-aged woman in the audience was caught on camera using the popular phone app to identify Swift's song during her performance of "Champagne Problems."
The video captioned "shazam problems" and "hope this lady found out what song this is" has since garnered over 2.5 million views, 2,750 comments, 314,900 hearts and 6,545 shares, with Swifties -- Taylor Swift fans -- sharing their thoughts on the concertgoer's gesture.
Some fans, especially those who weren't able to score tickets to the sold-out show, were upset.
"I lost a ticket to THAT?" commented one.
"How dare you not know 'Champagne Problems' yet you're in a TS concert?" wrote another.
"And then it's hard for [those] who actually care to get tickets," said someone else.
"I lost tickets to these types of people," claimed a different user."This makes me so sad," said a fifth commenter.
Meanwhile, many showed support and were happy to have found a new Swiftie. Others also speculated that the woman might be a mom who took her child to the concert, hence her limited knowledge of the singer's discography.
"I actually love this, someone hearing 'Champagne Problems' for the first time, loving it and needing to know the name of it," commented one fan.
"This is actually so sweet. I'm sure she came with her daughter or someone and realized just how beautiful Taylor's lyricism is," opined another.
"Imagine being her. Imagine her experience of falling in love with this masterpiece live for the first time. What a truly blessed experience she has," wrote a different netizen.
"A new Swiftie was born," another said.
"I love thinking that she heard this song the first time and loved it so much she had to know what it was," someone else added.
Taylor Swift released "Champagne Problems" in December 2020 as one of the 15 tracks on her "Evermore" album.
Other songs on the record include "Willow," "Gold Rush," "'Tis The Damn Season," "Tolerate It," "No Body, No Crime," "Happiness," "Dorothea," "Coney Island," "Ivy," "Cowboy Like Me," "Long Story Short," "Marjorie," "Closure" and "Evermore."
