President Joe Biden's administration has been accused of giving Prince Harry preferential treatment as it backs the royal in a case about his U.S. visa.

GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker recently weighed in on Donald Trump's claim that the Biden administration has been protecting the Duke of Sussex and the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation's ongoing court case against the U.S. government over the release of Prince Harry's visa application.

Speaking to GB News host Patrick Christys, Walker explained that Biden and his staff are being accused of "keeping Prince Harry safe or giving him special treatment after he has admitted to drug use, illegal drug use, in his memoir 'Spare.'"

Walker suggested that Trump and the Heritage Foundation may be trying to "make a point" with Prince Harry, which could result in "disaster" for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"He could well be kicked out of the United States. He has two very young children and his wife in California," Walker said of Prince Harry, who shares 4-year-old Prince Archie and 2-year-old Princess Lilibet with his wife, Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry admitted to taking cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in his 2023 book. Drug use can be considered grounds to deny a U.S. visa application.

The Heritage Foundation requested that Prince Harry's visa application be made public to determine if he disclosed his past drug use to authorities before entering the U.S. in 2020 and if he received favorable treatment from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

However, the Biden administration rejected the think tank's request, saying Prince Harry, like other visa applicants, has the right to privacy.

Lawyers for the DHS also said in court last month that passages in a book are not "sworn testimony or proof" that Prince Harry took drugs.

Trump told Daily Express U.S. last month that he won't be as "gracious" to Prince Harry as the Biden administration and won't protect the royal if he wins the 2024 presidential election.

However, Walker said he thinks the U.S. government is unlikely to "kick Harry out and break up a very young family" even if Trump is reelected as president.

"Prince Harry's opinion polls are not great on either side of the Atlantic, and he's no longer a working member of the royal family, but he is still the King's son," the royal correspondent pointed out.

According to Walker, Prince Harry's relationship with his father remains strong, and King Charles III "very much loves his son" despite the duke's decision to step back from royal duties in 2020.

"I don't think it would do much for the relationship if Harry is kicked out and forced back to Britain. I suspect it's not going to come down to that, but of course, it is a possibility," Walker told Christys.

Prince Harry flew to the U.K. to visit his father last month after Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment.

Following the visit, reports surfaced that Prince Harry was open to supporting his father during this difficult time by returning to a temporary royal role.

The purported offer came as Prince William's wife Kate Middleton continues to recover from abdominal surgery. She is not expected to return to public duties until after Easter.

On Sunday, The Times U.K. reported that Queen Camilla is taking more than a week off from royal duties after stepping up royal engagements since her husband's cancer diagnosis.

She will resume public appearances on March 11 on Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey, where she is expected to represent the crown.
