Matt Rife Accused Of 'Sucking' Hollywood Execs Off For 'Online Stardom'
Matt Rife has been accused of trading sexual favors for an alleged deal that would give him "online stardom."
The controversial comedian, 28, became a trending topic on X, formerly Twitter, Wednesday after comedian-turned-entrepreneur Nima Yamini's shocking allegations resurfaced on the social media platform. It is unclear if Rife has publicly responded to the accusations.
Yamini initially made the unverified claims in a TikTok video he posted in January, following Katt Williams' viral interview on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast.
In the video, which has received over 2.8 million views on TikTok, Yamini claimed, "The dark side of Hollywood is finally being exposed thanks to one of the true kings of comedy, Katt Williams."
The TikTok star then went on to allege that during his days as a comedian, he and a peer were offered an alleged deal by unidentified Hollywood executives.
But he alleged that they were told to engage in sexual activity with the executives in order to be able to get the contract.
"Before I became wealthy in business, I actually had a somewhat successful career in stand-up comedy. I was on the way up," Yamini said.
"I was invited to a meeting with some Hollywood executives along with some now-famous comedian (sic), and we were offered the chance for a deal at online stardom. But the only way to receive the contract was by sucking both the execs off," he alleged.
Yamini claimed he "immediately got up and walked to the door."
"But before I could even exit, the other comedian was sucking both of their d***s simultaneously," he alleged before identifying the alleged comedian.
"That guy's name was Matt Rife," Yamini said.
Yamini did not provide evidence backing his allegations. Enstarz could not independently verify the claims.
Yamini's video was reposted Wednesday on X, where it has since been viewed over 16 million times and received thousands of comments.
Some X and TikTok users were shocked by the allegations, with one person writing on X: "Matt Rife did WHAT for TikTok fame???"
"Matt Rife came out of nowhere, now we know why," read one TikTok comment that has received nearly 10,000 "likes."
But many others appeared deeply skeptical about Yamini's claims.
"Anyone believing that Matt Rife story is gullible af," one X user wrote.
Another questioned, "Why would they hold a meeting with 2 candidates for a contract at the same time? Regardless of whether or not the 'contract' was being offered to both him and Rife, the execs would most definitely hold the meetings separately. Plus, he seems to be reading a script he rehearsed."
Some slammed Yamini for naming Rife but not the executives who allegedly made the offer.
"So why name the victim but not the execs?" read one comment on X that has received over 4,500 likes.
Another wrote of Yamini, "Just pointing out that he's calling himself an Alpha while name-dropping Matt Rife but NOT the two Hollywood executives that allegedly asked him to blow them. Why won't he name-drop the executives?"
One TikTok user gave a possible explanation behind Yamini's move, claiming, "Matt Rife can sue him, the execs can make him disappear."
Meanwhile, an X user noted that while the allegations remain unconfirmed, any alleged "abuse" of power by a Hollywood executive is "worth investigating."
"Obviously there needs to be some proof or corroboration in order to legitimize this claim. But no one should doubt that Hollywood executives would abuse their powers just like politicians or anyone else in control. This is worth investigating," the user commented.
"For years and years we heard the casting couch was for females even though it was also for men. Nobody wanted to talk about it til now. [It's] not shocking to me at all. I always figured it was the norm for both," another claimed.
According to Flaunt, Yamini founded an online education company called P.N. & Friends.
Yamini reportedly initially moved to Los Angeles to pursue music but instead found his calling in sales and marketing. He reportedly managed events and organized parties for celebrities in New York City, one of which was covered by the New York Post.
He has garnered a considerable following on Instagram and TikTok, where he posts content seemingly targeted toward men and budding entrepreneurs.
According to his Instagram account, he also hosts a weekly show called "The Nima Yamini Show" on Rumble.
In November last year, Rife faced backlash over a joke about domestic violence in his Netflix special, "Natural Selection."
In his special, the comedian told a story about seeing a female server with a black eye while at a Baltimore restaurant with a friend. He said they wondered why the server wasn't asked to work in the kitchen instead before quipping, "Yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn’t have that black eye."
Rife then proceeded to tell the audience that he was “just testing the waters, seeing if y’all are gonna be fun or not."
"I figure if we start the show with domestic violence the rest of the show should be smooth sailing," he added.
After receiving widespread criticism over the joke, Rife took to his Instagram Stories to post, "If you've ever been offended by a joke I've told, here's a link to my official apology."
However, this only fueled the controversy as the link led social media users to a health website where they could buy special needs helmets, according to Variety.
Weeks later, Rife was accused of feuding with a 6-year-old boy who criticized his Netflix standup special.
In an Instagram video, TikToker Bunny Hedaya's son reacted to Rife's domestic violence joke, saying the comedian was "mean to girls."
Rife then allegedly responded to the little boy's remarks in a since-deleted comment on the post that read: "Jupiter also has [a] ring. OH!... and Santa [Claus] isn't real. Your mom buys you presents with the money she makes on OnlyFans. Good luck."
Hedaya later called out Rife for starting "beef" with her child.
"You can't accept the fact that people may like women for their personalities. We know you don't have one," the influencer said in a TikTok video posted in December 2023. "I really wish you luck on what's left of your career, but keep my child's name out of your mouth."
