Denise Richards Is Open To 'Full-Time' Return To Bravo's 'RHOBH'
Denise Richards is not closing her door on a potential "full-time" return to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
The actress sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday to promote her new Lifetime movie "Hunting Housewives." She previously appeared on the Bravo reality show for Seasons 9 and 10 and returned as a guest for its current season. When asked about a potential return as a regular, the "Wild Things" star admitted that she's open to the idea.
"I would definitely entertain the idea to come back full-time," Richards told ET. "For sure."
In her recent return, she joined the "RHOBH" ladies in a cannabis-infused dinner party hosted by Kyle Richards. The reunion seemingly appeared fine until she turned to Erika Jayne and confronted the singer about the change in dynamics since they first met.
However, Richards clarified that there were no hard feelings between her and Jayne after that. In fact, she told ET that aside from Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke, she also found Jayne among those she would feel confident to be with amid a difficult circumstance.
"I think she could get us out," Richards said of Jayne.
Richards' new movie follows four housewives whose spa getaway goes awry, leaving them stranded in the wilderness.
"I just loved the story," Richards said. "As soon as I read the script, I thought it was just a funny concept. It's got so many fun humorous moments... and [shows the women] really bonding like they hadn't before and really helping and supporting each other... It's got a lot of fun twists and turns."
Richards also opened up about her guesting in the current season of "RHOBH" when she appeared on Bethenny Frankel's "Just B with Bethenny Frankel" podcast. There were various speculations that she might have been intoxicated during the dinner because of her behavior. According to her, she hasn't watched the said episode yet.
"I won't even watch it because I'm sure I obviously made an a** out of myself. So I was like, why the hell am I going to watch myself like that?" Richards said.
The "Drop Dead Gorgeous" star said she didn't consume weed or edibles. However, she was reportedly not feeling well at the time.
"I came home, and Aaron [Phypers, Denise's husband] was like, 'What is wrong with you?' And I go, 'I don't know.' I've never been like that," she recalled.
She added that she only had one drink because she was nervous seeing the other women.
As for her departure from the series, Bravo producer Andy Cohen admitted to PeopleTV's "Reality Check" that she left after two seasons because they couldn't agree on a deal.
"I'm just sad we couldn't reach an agreement for next season. I'm kind of living in that sadness," Cohen said. "We were negotiating a deal with her, and we couldn't reach an agreement on the deal."
