Melania Trump Stuns Alongside Donald Trump While Hosting Hungarian PM After Skipping Super Tuesday Victory Bash
Melania Trump was with Donald Trump when he hosted the Hungarian Prime Minister Friday night.
The former first lady is rarely seen with her husband these days. She was even noticeably missing during Donald's Super Tuesday victory party. However, Melania was with the ex-POTUS when he hosted Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who became famous for championing what he called "illiberal democracy" with limits on LGBTQ+ rights and immigration.
In the photos obtained by Yahoo! Entertainment, the ex-FLOTUS was stunning in her all-white pantsuit. She also looked surprised when the Hungarian politician handed her a bouquet.
Orbán shared a video of Melania when he gave her the flowers on his Instagram Stories and captioned it "Pretty woman." He also shared several photos of their encounter on the same photo-sharing platform.
Melania's last sighting with Trump was at the Trumpette's gala, also held at Mar-a-Lago in February. She was reportedly all smiles at the event, according to a guest. It was her first major event after her mom, Amalija Knavs, passed away in January.
"She seemed quiet but in very good spirits. She was smiling the whole time," Delia Hickman, the creator of the "Momma Loves Fashion" who was in attendance at the gala, said. "What I noticed, in particular, was that although everyone was waiting for Trump to make his grand entrance when he walked in and waved at everyone, he made sure to turn to her and acknowledge that she was there!"
After Trump reportedly made his way to the podium, Melania was standing by the stage smiling, waving and greeting the people close enough. There was reportedly "a look of great sense of peace on her face."
Melania raised eyebrows when she didn't attend her husband's Super Tuesday victory party just days before they hosted Orbán. Her absence sparked rumors that she and Donald were having marital woes.
One netizen claimed on social media that the businessman-turned-politician was "so sad" at the event without his wife. Many also wondered why Melania didn't support her husband.
However, Melania's former aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, dismissed the rumors and didn't make her absence a big deal. According to the "Melania and Me" author, the model's attendance wasn't needed at the event.
"WARNING Melania Trump was NOT at Donald's victory party because she did NOT have to be. His supporters do NOT care if she is by his side or NOT, so now she does NOT have to be," Wolkoff wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "NOThing more, NOThing less."
