Fans Celebrate Kim Kardashian's Unedited Photo On Instagram: 'It’s Giving Real Skin!'
Kim Kardashian's unedited photo from Sunday's Vanity Fair party has sparked discussions online.
On Monday, New York Style and The New York Times uploaded some photos of celebrities taken at the Oscar afterparty by Vanity Fair on Instagram.
Included in the carousel of seemingly raw and unedited photos taken by Brooklyn photographer V. Nina Westervelt was that of the 43-year-old socialite who posed for the camera in her custom Balenciaga gown.
Comparing Westervelt's photo of Kim to the allegedly touched-up photos the SKIMS founder usually uploads herself, fans were quick to share their thoughts online.
"It's giving REAL SKIN! Praise be the Lord on these unedited photos. AMEN," one netizen commented.
"It's nice to see them in real lighting with their human features," another wrote.
"Kim looks beautiful -- we're just not used to seeing untouched photos. It's refreshing to get an unfiltered look at what a 43-year-old woman actually looks like," opined someone else.
"Kim is literally in her 40s. She's not Vera Wang, she's eventually going to age. And, she will still be beautiful," said a different netizen.
"Kim K [is] looking her age!" claimed another person.
"That's some wild light you're using. They look human!" quipped a different Instagram user.
"Kim actually looking her age is refreshing," another stated.

While many found Kim K's unedited photo refreshing, some joked that the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star might have it taken down.
"Unedited photo of Kim, she's gonna hate this," said one netizen.
"Yikes... Kim [is] having this removed on 3, 2..." quipped another.
"Oh s***, someone forgot to touch up the Kardashian photo," wrote a third netizen.
Back in March last year, netizens also made a comparison of Kim's photo on her Instagram account versus a photo of her posted by others.
Kardashian posted a photo of her from a Dolce & Gabbana event at the time, a few days after fashion influencer-model Leonie Hanne uploaded an unedited photo of her with the business mogul.
Some netizens noticed that while Kardashian still looked incredible, her skin appeared more textured in Hanne's photo than in the picture she uploaded on her Instagram page, per BuzzFeed News.
"Although she looks older than her filtered pics, she still looks good..." one netizen commented while comparing the snaps.
"Aged Kim looks mature and stunning," another person added.
