Cara Delevingne's California home was consumed by flames on Friday, causing the roof to collapse.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reports firefighters arrived to find her Studio City house engulfed in heavy fire in the rear of the 6,650-square-foot home.

It's unclear who was in the home when the blaze started, but the fire department confirmed an occupant sustained minor smoke inhalation, PEOPLE reports. A firefighter also sustained injuries, but is reportedly now in stable condition in the hospital.

"Firefighters arrived to find a 6,650-square-foot two-story home built in 1971, with heavy fire in the rear, which consumed one room in the rear and developed into a deep-seated attic fire," Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a statement.

Prange also described how "it took 94 firefighters 2 hours and 16 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames."

She posted to Instagram on Friday a photo of two cats with the text: "My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in a blink of an eye, so cherish what you have."

She added, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help."

The 'Suicide Squad' actress updated her post with another picture of the two cats, writing how her felines were "alive!! Thank you to the firefighters."

The model, 31, was last photographed in London on Thursday. The London native has been performing as Sally Bowles in 'Cabaret' at the Playhouse Theatre.
