"Being told I have cancer didn't devastate me. It was the reaction of those close to me," Pettway said in an Instagram post, per E! News. She revealed she was battling stage 3 cervical cancer back in July.

"I knew that God is my healer and that no weapon formed against me, not even cancer, would prosper. I knew that I am more than a conqueror and that I will get through this," she stated.

The YouTube star, who once called the hospital her second home, was hopeful, sharing a heartfelt message of faith on Jan.14. Doctors had initially mistreated her for fibroids — non-cancerous tumors that grow on the uterus, according to the Centers for Diease and Prevention — but she was correctly diagnosed with cervical cancer in February 2023.

The influencer also shared how her intense bleeding, including a time her husband found her unresponsive and not breathing, stopped, but would experience "labor-like pains" up until December 2022 when the blood loss returned and "would not stop."

The 36-year-old mother leaves behind her husband, and her two daughters Kailee, 10, and Zoi Lee, 3.

Her sister, Reyni Brown, dedicated a social media post to Pettway. "It's my birthday today, and the only thing I could ever wish for is for God to bring you back on this earth," she wrote.

She continued: "I lost my beautiful big sister 2 days ago and my heart has never felt pain like this."

Reyni described Pettway as "the most amazing, strong, confident" woman she had ever met, giving her wisdom, praying for her, and helped her to "become a better mother."

"Life will never be the same without her crazy laugh, pranks, or jokes," Reyni said. "Losing a sibling feels like a connection between us was destroyed. I love you with all my heart."
