'The View' Hosts Compare 'Grainy' Kate Middleton Video To 'Bigfoot Sighting': 'It's A Body Double'
The Kate Middleton disappearance conspiracy theories continue.
On Tuesday, co-hosts of "The View" gave their thoughts on the recent sighting of Kate Middleton at a local farm store. The video published on Sunday showed what appeared to be the Princess of Wales walking with husband Prince William as they carry a few bags after a quick shopping trip.
Many have claimed the video doesn't show the real Kate Middleton but a look-alike instead.
"It's grainy," Alyssa Farah Griffin said on the show.
"It's like a Bigfoot sighting," she added to the agreement of her co-hosts.
Sunny Hostin doubled down on the claims that it was a "body double" seen in the video.
"That's her body double. You know the royals have body doubles," she explained.
"If you really close in on that video --which I have done, I have done some internet sleuthing myself -- it's very clear that the profile is not Kate."
However, Whoopie Goldberg believes British people are not "worried" about the video or whether it was indeed the royal because "they know where she is."
"They told you where she was," the host added. "They're not worried about it. We're the only ones who do this."
One of Middleton's look-alikes has also denied the "crazy" claims she's the person in the footage.
Speaking with The Mirror, Heidi Agan, who has impersonated the royal professionally for over a decade, said it's "100%" Kate and William that are seen in the clip
"My own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me," Agan said.
"I 100% believe that is Kate Middleton and William in that video."
The look-alike added that she believes the royal is alive, "we can be sure about it."
In January, the Kensington Palace announced that Middleton underwent a "planned abdominal surgery." She is expected to return to public duties after Easter. However, not much has been reported about her recovery since, leading to many speculations and conspiracy theories about her "disappearance."
