Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly Are Reportedly Living Separately After Confirmation They Called Off Engagement
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are no longer living together after they decided to call off their engagement months ago.
The celebrity couple are "living separately" while working on their relationship. The 37-year-old bombshell is in Malibu while the 33-year-old singer has been staying in their Encino home, an unnamed source told US Weekly.
Fox and Kelly, whose real name is Colson Barker, started dating in March 2020. They announced their engagement in January 2022, but their romance has "always" been "up and down," and it's "at a low moment right now," according to the tipster. The "Transformers" actress allegedly had asked her friends to "set her up" with other people.
But even if the wedding plans are off, their pals believe they aren't breaking up for good.
"Friends around them don't see them completely ending the relationship as they truly change their minds every day," the source added, noting that Fox "hasn't been wearing her ring" lately.
"Megan has a hard time trusting MGK and knows it's her own insecurities," the tipster continued.
Another insider said the pair "can't stop fighting," and their drama "could be drawn out for years."
"Megan and MGK have a very toxic relationship, their love literally makes them sick," the second source added.
Fox confirmed they called off their engagement when she appeared on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast on Wednesday.
They reportedly decided to cancel their engagement at some point last year, per Billboard.
During the chat, Cooper said the actress and MKG "got engaged, then I think it was called off." Fox quickly confirmed it and said, "All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred."
The actress acknowledged that their relationship status was "confusing or interesting to people." However, she pointed out that the lesson she learned from their relationship was the importance of keeping it private.
"I think that what I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption," Fox told Cooper. "I think, as of now, I don't have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul,' and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what."
Although Fox was sure they would remain connected, she wasn't sure to what capacity.
"I can't say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him, somehow. Beyond that, I'm not willing to explain," the "Jennifer's Body" actress said.
In February 2023, Fox and Kelly made headlines when their relationship made a dramatic turn during the Super Bowl weekend. They were spotted attending a party Friday night, but she suddenly unfollowed him two days later, sparking split rumors.
Fox also shared cryptic posts on Instagram before deleting her account. One of her posts was a lyric from Beyoncé's song "Pray You Catch Me," which read, "You can taste the dishonesty/it's all over your breath."
The song was from Beyoncé's 2016 "Lemonade" album, and it was about her husband, Jay-Z's infidelity, according to Elle.
