Travis Kelce Says 'Love Is Blind' Is 'Worst Trash Ever'; Does On-Point Chelsea Blackwell Impersonation
Travis Kelce tried to convince his older brother, Jason, to watch "Love Is Blind" despite calling it the "worst trash ever."
In a recent episode of their "New Heights" podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he watched the Netflix reality series, which follows the story of singles trying to "look for love and get engaged, all before meeting in person."
"Jason, you gotta watch 'Love Is Blind' man. It is the worst trash ever. It's worse than 'Catching Kelce' but it is so f***ing good," the Chiefs star said, trying to convince his brother to watch the show.
"Honestly, I just want you to watch the one girl and to just hear her."
"I'm not watching. I'm not watching that trash. I'm not encouraging Netflix or any of these other subscription channels to make any more of this nonsense bull****," Jason responded.
Travis then hilariously impersonated "the one girl" he was telling Jason about -- Chelsea Blackwell.
"Clingy? I'm clingy? Really?" Travis said, mimicking her voice, complete with facial expressions and all.
Per E News!, the footballer impersonated Chelsea's confrontation scene with her then-fiancé Jimmy Presnell, who asked her for a breather from their relationship, as shown in the eighth episode of the reality series' sixth season.
Many found the Superbowl champ's impersonation of Blackwell "hilarious," "on point" and "spot on."
"The most underrated part of this clip is Travis literally BEGGING Jason to watch it," another netizen tweeted.
"Alright, this was a perfect Chelsea impersonation," commented a different X user.
"OK, I just listened to the audio earlier because I'm currently busy adulting, but the impersonation at the end and his face! I CANNOT BREATHE," another wrote with several laughing emojis.
"I love him so much. This is so funny," said someone else.
Travis' impersonation of Blackwell already made its way to the reality series star. In response, she posted an Instagram reel addressing the NFL player. She captioned her post, "Travis, stop where you're at," and added a stop sign and laughing emoji.
"I just got the most mortifying news. I feel like I need to crawl under a rock at this point because Travis Kelce did an impersonation of me, and the only outlet that this man knows my name [or not] is from whining like a baby back b****," she said.
"Taylor Swift, if you're watching it with him... Please stop," she continued before laughing.
