Josh Peck has finally addressed Drake Bell's revelations on "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" after facing backlash for not publicly supporting his former "Drake and Josh" co-star.

Days after the last two episodes of Investigation Discovery's docuseries aired, Peck took to Instagram to express support for Bell, who revealed he had been sexually abused as a child by his dialogue coach at Nickelodeon.

"I finished the 'Quiet on Set' documentary and took a few days to process it," Peck explained Thursday.

He went on to share that he "reached out to Drake privately" before deciding to release a statement.

Peck wrote that he wanted to "give my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets with the world."

He added, "Children should be protected. Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult, but I hope it can bring healing for the victims and their families as well as necessary change to our industry."

Peck's statement comes a day after Bell defended his former co-star as he was getting criticized on social media for not addressing the docuseries.

"Processing this and going through this is a really emotional time, and a lot of it's very, very difficult, so not everything is put out to the public," Bell explained in a TikTok video Wednesday.

Bell told fans that Peck has "reached out" to him privately regarding his ordeal.

"[Josh] has reached out to talk with me and help me work through this, and he's been really, really great," Bell added.

The "Found a Way" singer went on to ask fans to "take it a little easy" on Peck, seemingly referring to the criticism sparked by the "Oppenheimer" star's recent TikTok videos.

Earlier this week, Peck posted a TikTok video of him lip-syncing an audio that said, "If I haven't talked to you since 2023, take that as a f***ing sign that you don't exist to me anymore."

Several users on TikTok and X questioned the timing of Peck's post, with some alleging it was directed at Bell.

Others accused him of remaining silent amid his former co-star's revelations and blocking some commenters who mentioned Bell.

"So Drake was your friend. You knew he got [sexually abused] and sided with the abuser," one TikTok user claimed. "Guess weight wasn't the only thing you lost."

"I came running to the comments after the show, and my gosh, everyone's asking the same question: why stay silent[?" a second user commented on his video.

"If you keep blocking everyone who mentions Drake, you're going to have no followers left Joshy," another user alleged.

In "Quiet on Set," Bell revealed that he was repeatedly molested by dialogue coach Brian Peck -- to whom Josh has no relation -- when he was starring on "The Amanda Show" at 15.

Bell was the anonymous child actor involved in the coach's 2003 arrest and 2004 conviction, which saw Brian pleading no contest to charges of oral copulation with a minor under 16 and performing a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old.

The dialogue coach was sentenced to 16 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender.

Following Bell's revelation, Nickelodeon said in a statement to NBC News: "Now that Drake Bell has disclosed his identity as the plaintiff in the 2004 case, we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured, and we commend and support the strength required to come forward."

"Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" is available to stream on Max.
