Honey Boo Boo Threatens To Sue Mama June For ‘Stealing My Money’
Mama June and Honey Boo Boo had another intense exchange over money on "Mama June: Family Crisis."
On Friday's episode of the We TV series, June "Mama June" Shannon handed over some checks to her daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson as they discussed the latter's plans for college in Colorado.
However, the Shannon matriarch admitted that she had taken some cash from the latter's Coogan account -- a trust where a child performer's parents are required by law to deposit a percentage of their earnings for their protection.
Honey Boo Boo was surprised upon knowing what her mom did, so she started interrogating her about the money, forcing Mama June to eventually reveal that she had spent some cash on living expenses, including food and clothing.
Upset by her mom's revelation, Honey Boo Boo threatened to take her controversial parent to court for allegedly stealing from her.
"Something's gonna happen because you ain't fitting to just get away with stealing my money, baby," Honey Boo Boo said in a confessional.
"Mama's really pissing me off because she's trying to make everything about her damn self, and it's like 'Where's my money?'... I'm gonna get the truth out of Mama, and I will find out where my money is. Mama is not getting a slap on the wrist for this one."
Just last week, the 18-year-old "Toddlers and Tiaras" alum slammed Mama June because she told her she couldn't pay for her college education while she had spent money on her husband Justin Stroud's gold chains.
"Maybe she thinks that paying for Justin's chains or something is more important than giving it to me for college. She's stingy when it comes to money," Honey Boo Boo said.
"It kind of just pisses me off because she can help everyone around her... but it's just like when it comes to me, it's like, 'Well, Alana, I can't do nothing for you, I don't have the money,' and she knows she's got the money. It would have been nice to have her help. I don't know, it's like she doesn't believe me, for real."
Interestingly, Mama June's actions regarding her daughter's finances also came as a surprise to her husband. Stroud claimed that he did not know anything about it.
"Honestly, I was really hurt because I thought me and June was supposed to be able to tell each other everything, and if she knew that it was gonna blow up like this, she should have told me about it," Stroud said on the show.
He also accused his 44-year-old wife of "still lying."
"B***s**t has to stop. You're a f***ing liar," he told her, leaving Mama June speechless.
New episodes of "Mama June: Family Crisis" air on We TV every Friday at 9 p.m. ET.
