South Korean celebrities Jihyo of TWICE and Yun Sung-bin from "Physical 100" have been reportedly dating for a year after meeting through an acquaintance.

On Sunday, Sway Korea reported that the K-Pop idol and the Olympic skeleton racer, who are both sports lovers, first met through an acquaintance before naturally developing into lovers. They have been allegedly dating for a year now.

Because they live five minutes away from each other by car, they allegedly go on dates in each other's houses.

Sway also received a tip that Sung-bin frequently visits Jihyo's house, where they were allegedly spotted showing natural skinship.

Meanwhile, an entertainment industry official reported that the pair developed a romance because they're both "fitness enthusiasts."

"Yun Sung-bin taught Jihyo how to exercise, and they became close friends. They had a lot in common, so their relationship quickly developed into a romantic relationship," the official reportedly claimed.

Shortly after the dating rumors between the two South Korean personalities circulated online, their agencies gave separate responses to the reports.

JYP Entertainment, Jihyo's label, stated, "It is difficult to confirm as it is [the artist's] personal matter. We ask for your understanding.

Meanwhile, All That Sports, Sung-bin's agency, said, "As he is no longer an active athlete, we do not manage his personal life. It is difficult to confirm."

Jihyo debuted as a member of JYP Entertainment's nine-piece group TWICE in October 2015. With her bandmates Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu, they rose to fame for their 2016 viral hits "Cheer Up" and "TT."

The 27-year-old singer released her debut EP, "ZONE," in August last year. With "ZONE," she took the No. 1 spot on the Circle Album Chart for the week of Aug. 26. This marked her first No. 1 as a solo artist on the chart.

Meanwhile, her rumored boyfriend was the first South Korean athlete to win an Olympic medal in skeleton. At 23 years old, Yun topped the podium at PyeongChang 2018 and became a household name in the Republic of Korea.

While he has already retired, the now-29-year-old has been named an honorary ambassador for the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon.

Yun is also one of the 100 contestants on Netflix's "Physical: 100," where "some of the most well-trained and recognized athletes go head-to-head to see whose physique is best."

Both Jihyo and Sung-bin have appeared on MBC's "Home Alone" recently.
