‘RHOA’ Star Kim Zolciak Slammed For Getting Fillers, Botox Amid Multimillion Debt
Kim Zolciak's latest social media post drew flak from the netizens.
In her recent Instagram reel, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum shared a visit to an Atlanta-based med spa where she got some of her wrinkles treated, as well as the severe tension in her shoulders. In the video, it also appeared that she got lip injections.
"I went to see @injectionsbyhelen, and I am so so happy with my results. Don't walk, but RUN to book your appointment today. They have so many incredible treatments from laser to peels, etc," the TV personality captioned her post.
However, her seemingly fun trip to the spa took a different turn when netizens started commenting on her post and bringing up her and her husband Kroy Biermann's financial woes, which led them to file for divorce last year. They called it off two months later though.
"I thought you [were] broke. This stuff costs hundreds," commented one netizen.
"Really!? You are in debt up to your eyeballs, and you are doing cosmetic work! Get over yourself," wrote another.
"That should be the least of your worries," opined a different IG user.
"This is the 'celebrity' you want representing your brand? She owes the government and several others millions and is scamming people while trying to sell her brand-name goods so she can buy scratch-offs and wine rather than taking care of her four minor children. Not the best look for your brand," someone else commented.
"So you have $ for injections but not bills?" stated a different netizen.
"Where [do] you get money for this?" someone else asked.
In May 2023, it was reported that the couple owed $1.1 million for unpaid taxes, interest and penalties from 2013, 2017 and 2018. They also reportedly owed the state of Georgia $15,000 for unpaid 2018 taxes.
Earlier in 2023, their mansion was also foreclosed and put up for auction after they reportedly defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took in 2016.
Despite the negative comments on how Kim handles her finances, some fans opted to praise her by telling her she's "gorgeous," "amazing," "incredible" and "f***ing hot."
"I think she is beautiful. Her body is [fire]. Ladies, we should be lifting our sisters up, not kicking them when they are down," commented one fan in her defense.
"Kim, I've always thought you were pretty hot. I don't think you need to do all that, but do what makes you happy," someone else wrote.
"All of you commenting about 'Where did she get the money for this?' blah blah blah. Pay attention to YOUR wallet and not hers," opined a different commenter.
Zolciak is best known for being one of the original cast members of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," alongside Lisa Wu, Deshawn Snow, NeNe Leakes and Shereé Whitfield.
She also competed on "Dancing With the Stars" in 2015.
