Melania Trump's Ex-Aide Reveals 'Difference' Between Barron And His Older Siblings
Melania and Donald Trump's only child, Barron Trump, has qualities that set him apart from his older half-siblings, according to his mother's former top aide.
While he grew up in the White House, little is known about the youngest Trump child, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight.
However, Melania's former chief of staff Stephanie Grisham shared some insight into Barron's personality.
"I cannot stress enough how kind and polite Barron is," Grisham told the Daily Mail. "He's just a great kid."
The ex-White House press secretary went on to claim that she observed a "definite difference" between the 18-year-old and his much older half-siblings -- Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump -- during her time working for the former president and former first lady.
Grisham said Barron was "just very, very kind and humble and empathetic and smart," before clarifying, "Not that I'm saying his half-siblings aren't smart at all."
Melania's former aide did not elaborate further on the alleged differences between the teen and his older brothers and sisters.
Among his half-siblings, Barron reportedly gets along best with the one closest to his age, Tiffany, 30, unnamed insiders told the outlet.
Barron was last seen publicly with his parents and siblings at the funeral of his grandmother, Amalija Knavs, on Jan. 18.
Melania's mother died on Jan. 9 after battling an undisclosed illness. She was 78.
In addition to Barron and his parents, the funeral held at the the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Florida was also attended by Ivanka, Tiffany, and their respective husbands, Jared Kushner and Michael Boulos.
They were joined by Don Jr., Eric, and their respective partners, Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lara Trump.
Barron had a close relationship with his grandmother, who lived at the Trumps' Mar-a-Lago estate along with her husband, Viktor Knavs.
"[Amalija] has an excellent relationship with Melania and with Barron," an unnamed source close to the family told People. "They love her. She is unselfish and takes care of the family. Melania has always been super good with her mom as well as Barron."
The insider added, "There have been times when Barron has been with his grandparents more than with Melania, and a lot more than with Donald."
Donald even credited Barron's late grandmother's cooking with his son growing to a height of 6 feet and 7 inches.
During a rally in Iowa days after Amalija's passing, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee described Melania's mother as a "great" grandmother to Barron.
"Boy, did she take care of Barron," Donald told the crowd. "That's how he got so tall, he only ate her food."
Barron is currently in his senior year of high school at Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, and is set to graduate with the class of 2024.
While Barron has yet to decide which university he'll attend, an unnamed source recently told People that Melania will likely "follow him wherever he goes to school."
The insider explained, "Barron is shy and reserved, and she has been a good mother to him all of these years."
