Slim Thug And Other Celebs Continue To React To Diddy Mansion Raids: 'Still Ain't No Criminal Charges'
Celebrities continue to react to Sean "Diddy" Combs' shocking mansion raids on Monday at the hands of Homeland Security Investigations, following allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Despite some celebs holding the position that the "It's All About the Benjamins" rap mogul is finally getting what he deserves, not everyone is on board with that point of view.
Houston rapper Slim Thug isn't particularly thrilled about the shakedown Diddy's been enduring since Monday, calling out the hip-hop community for praying for his downfall.
The "Still Tippin'" emcee claims people are turning their back on Diddy, 54, over unproven allegations. "Still ain't no criminal charges," he said, per All Hip-Hop.
"This dude is on a list of the worst people in the world right now, without no criminal charges" Slim Thug, real name Stayve J. Thomas, started.
"Just like my opinion could be wrong, y'all opinion could be wrong," he said during an interview with Say Dat TV.
Slim Thug, 43, admitted that although he "doesn't know the details," he never believed Cassie's sexual assault allegations from the start, claiming the 'Me & U' singer's case was a "cash grab."
Political pundit and daughter of politician John McCain Meghan McCain also weighed in via a now-deleted X post, referring to an old Katt Williams interview where the comedian spilled details on Diddy's alleged behavior.
"We all really need to start listening to every single thing Katt Williams is saying...." she said with shocked emoji eyes.
Cassie, 37, opened the floodgates for a brutal investigation following her controversial case in November 2023, outlining alleged sexual and physical abuse she faced while dating the New York rapper.
Within 24 hours, the case was settled, awarding Cassie, formally Casandra Ventura, $30 million.
Cassie provided a statement via her attorney Douglas Wigdor after Diddy's Los Angeles and Miami mansions were raided, saying "hopefully this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct."
Diddy maintains his innocence and denies all allegations against him.
