The family and representatives of Chance Perdomo, known for his role in "Gen V," have sadly revealed that he passed away following a tragic motorcycle accident. Perdomo, a talented actor, was just 27 years old at the time of his passing.

"No other individuals were involved in the accident," stated his family and representatives, released Saturday. "His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest," they added. "We ask to please respect the family's wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother."

Perdomo gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Andre Anderson in "Gen V," the Prime Video spinoff of "The Boys," a superhero comedy series.

In a statement shared on various platforms including Amazon Studios, Prime Video, Sony Pictures TV, and the show's Instagram pages, the producers expressed their disbelief and sorrow.

"We can't quite wrap our head around this," they lamented. "For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn't make sense. We are so sorry for Chance's family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight."

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television joined in mourning Chance Perdomo's unexpected passing with a statement expressing their condolences.

"The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo," it read. "Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance's family and all who loved him at this difficult time."
