'Geeking Out' EXCLUSIVE: How Are The Geek Outs Going?
After five weeks of nerd-sessions, it is safe to say that Geeking Out is here for the long haul.
In today's world, everyone is quick to brand themselves. In the busy lives of an actor, an artist, a TikTok star, and a comedian, there is seldom time to understand people as more than the thing they do.
Geeking Out has set out to change that. The show asks not the difficult question, but the different question: What else are you passionate about?
From the show's onset, Geeking Out has successfully given listeners a deeper and well-rounded insight into their favorite personalities. Host Carly Polistina, a comedian-actor-writer herself, encourages her guests to speak freely and passionately about the things that inspire them.
"You don't have to be an expert on something to be obsessed with it," Polistina shares. "In today's world there's so much pressure to be perfectly correct about everything, to make it your whole life. I hope with this show we leave people with more room to just share what excites them even if their not geniuses about it."
We have seen this passionate and knowledgeable excitement from an array of thrilling guests including Jack Sullivan, Krissy Gregory, Nicholas Podany, Katie Blunt, and Gary Simons.

"As the podcast grows, I hope we can continue to expand — get more guests from different fields with different passions," Polistina said. "I don't want there to be a topic someone hasn't geeked out about!"
