Amanda Seyfried Wardrobe Malfunction, 'Lovelace' Actress Flashes Side Boob At Premiere [PHOTO, VIDEO]
Amanda Seyfried showed off more skin than she intended to when she attended the premiere for her latest film Lovelace.
Seyfried unknowingly suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she walked the red carpet in Los Angeles on Aug. 5. She wore a short Gucci dress with gold beading and a halter neckline. The actress accessorized the look with Givenchy sandals and yellow-gold diamond stud earrings by Graziela Gems. The event was held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood.
Unfortunately for the actress--who had a breakout performance in last year's hit Les Miserables-- the armhole to her dress was so wide that it showed the sides of her breasts. See the revealing photo of her side boob here.
Seyfried suffered the malfunction ahead of the film's arrival in theaters on Aug. 9.
She plays the title character of Linda Boreman, who reinvented herself and became Linda Lovelace for the hit 1972 adult film Deep Throat. The biopic follows her journey into the adult film industry, her rise to fame and her reproach of the porn industry when she became a Christian. Lovelace's husband, pimp and manager, Chuck Traynor, is played by Peter Sarsgaard.
James Franco also appears as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in the film. Sharon Stone, Adam Brody, Hank Azaria, Juno Temple, Chris Noth, Bobby Cannavale and Chloe Sevigny also star in the biopic.
Seyfried described the part as her "riskiest role yet." In her August 2013 cover story, she told ELLE that when she read the script, she thought, "Wow, this is the riskiest thing that's happening [in Hollywood] right now."
She said she also considered the downside of playing an adult film star, but her thoughts were quickly outweighed by the positive aspects of playing the porn icon.
"The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career," Seyfried explained. "At the same time, I was like, 'This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.'"
