On Sunday, Jackie Chan turned 70-years-old, admitting that he was shocked the time has passed so quickly.

The 'Rush Hour' actor took to social media to highlight the milestone birthday, in addition to addressing concerned fans who speculated about the status of his health after a photo surfaced of him with gray hair and a beard via X, formerlly known as Twitter.

Chan eased fan's fear on social media by clarifying that his aged look was due to a "character appearance" for his "latest movie."

"I want to take the time to let people know, don't worry," the honorary Oscar Award-winning actor began. "The character requires me to have white hair, white beard and look old. Over the years, I've always been willing to try new things for a movie, no matter if it's a challenging stunt or a breakthrough appearance for a character."

He also stands by the fact that he's performed all of his own stunts and has managed to endure years and years of risky situations. Per Shanghai Daily, the actor has injured almost every part of his body, has broken many bones, and has undergone many surgical procedures.
