Alec Baldwin Often 'Loses Control' On Set, May Have Contributed To Fatal Safety Compromises: Prosecutor
In a filing which became public on Monday, Alec Baldwin reportedly had "no control over his emotions" while working on the set of the upcoming film 'Rust.'
Court documents allege that Baldwin's behavior may have contributed to "safety compromises" related to the fatal shooting of the movie's cinematographer.
In the court filing, prosecutor Kari Morrissey claimed Baldwin, 66, frequently screamed and cursed "at himself, at crew members or at no one and not for any particular reason," per CBS News.

"To watch Mr. Baldwin's conduct on the set of 'Rust' is to witness a man who has absolutely no control of his own emotions and absolutely no concern for how his conduct affects those around him. Witnesses have testified that it was this exact conduct that contributed to safety compromises on set," he concluded, per the news outlet.
The 'Pearl Harbor' actor allegedly would demand that the crew "work faster" which prosecutors suspect led to "relentless rushing of the crew on the movie set," potentially resulting in compromises on safety.

The film's armorer, Hannah Guiterrez-Reed, was responsible for loading the rounds into the weapon Baldwin used. After a two-week trial, she was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. She is currently facing up to 18 years in prison.
According to CBS News, her attorney plans to appeal "a number of issues that occurred in the trial."
However, the veteran actor pleaded not guilty in regard to his own involuntary manslaughter charge back in January. The filing also revealed that the crew saw evidence of Guiterrez-Reed's "inexperienced and overwhelmed" behavior on set, which Baldwin never addressed.
Documents show that Morrissey blames both the young armorer and Baldwin for the unfortunate fatal shooting.
Prosecutors accused Baldiwn of "lying shamelessly" and repeatedly "changing his story" — even once stating that he never pulled the trigger at all, which the prosecutor called "absurd on its face," per Variety.
The gun Baldwin held — which was not supposed to be loaded with ammo — shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.
