The sudden death of Boram, a multi-talented artist known for her prowess in singing, songwriting, and acting, was announced by her agency, Xanadu Entertainment, on Friday in Korea. Boram made her mark on the K-pop scene at 17 when she captivated audiences with her soulful performances on the 2010 singing competition, 'Super Star K2.' Despite being a high school student with a penchant for R&B, she emerged as one of the youngest finalists, ultimately securing the eighth position.

The song garnered accolades, earning her the esteemed Artist of the Year award at the 2014 Gaon Chart Music Awards for its remarkable success in August.
Notably, the track and its accompanying music video offered glimpses into Park's personal journey, depicting her transformative efforts to attain societal standards of beauty through rigorous exercise and extreme dieting, shedding a reported 70 pounds before her debut. Subsequently, she released her inaugural EP, 'Celepretty,' in April 2015, which not only featured the chart-topping hit 'Beautiful' but also yielded another top 10 hit.
