Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's loved-up display at a polo match over the weekend has brought attention to Prince William and Kate Middleton's interactions in public.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made headlines after they packed on the PDA Friday at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Florida, where Markle and Prince Harry shared a sweet kiss following his team's victory.

Fans quickly praised the couple's sizzling chemistry and Prince Harry's "loving" gestures to his wife on X, formerly Twitter.

"Meghan and Harry's chemistry is something else," one person wrote alongside a clip of Markle presenting Prince Harry with the trophy after Friday's match.

"Harry and Meghan are so playful ugh. His little 'for me?' And her shoulder scrunch," another fan gushed.

"Prince Harry loving [his] wife unapologetically out loud," a third user wrote.

Some royal fans also seemingly hit out at claims that Prince Harry and Markle's recent PDA looked "forced" and "uncomfortable," pointing out Prince William's allegedly "cruel" treatment of Middleton in public.

"Royalists think Prince William doing this to his wife is more Royal & somehow better than Harry kissing his wife in public. Make it make sense? Racism rots the brain," one X user wrote, putting a snap of the Sussexes kissing beside a clip showing Middleton standing alone and looking awkward after Prince William moved away from her at a polo match last year.

Another user shared several images showing Prince William walking ahead of his wife and a clip of him telling Middleton to "chop chop" as she was speaking to Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan.

"I dislike Kate, but [Prince William] is horrible. He's cruel to her in public. I would hate to be married to a man who is so disdainful to me in public [with] cameras aimed directly at us. Because if he does this in public, in private, I shudder to think how he is," the second user claimed.

Another comment read, "It's weird that the Kate fans don't stand up for her when her so-called husband disrespects her so blatantly!"

Despite the accusations, other photos and videos from the Royal Charity Polo Cup 2023 showed Prince William and Middleton having sweet interactions throughout the event.

The Princess of Wales was seen cheering on Prince William and giving him a celebratory kiss after his team won the match.

Prince William was also photographed placing a gentle hand on his wife's back and sweetly embracing her.

Speculations surfaced earlier this year that Prince William and Princess Kate were headed for divorce after she disappeared from the public eye for months after undergoing abdominal surgery.

Among the wild theories that circulated on social media during Middleton's absence from the spotlight was that the royal couple may be calling it quits over his alleged affair with Lady Rose Hanbury.

In late March, Middleton announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer and had begun undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

In the video message she shared to announce her cancer diagnosis, Middleton seemingly shut down the claims that her marriage with Prince William was on the rocks by highlighting the support he has given her amid her health issues.

"I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body, and spirits," Princess Kate said.

She added, "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support, and kindness that has been shown by so many of you."

Prince William and Middleton have not been seen in public together since her announcement.
