Chris Brown and Quavo's beef is still very much alive based on the former's newest diss track against the latter.

On Saturday, Brown dropped his newest track, "Weakest Link." In the song, he mentioned Quavo's name and didn't hesitate to attack the Migos member, even claiming that everybody wished Quavo died instead of Takeoff in the Houston shooting in 2022.

"Quavo talkin' like he a thug, n***a, you a b***h with dreads (You a b***h) / Can't wait to see the day that you back up all of that s**t you said (You on) / What's all that boss s**t you talkin'? You ain't no huncho, n***a (You ain't no huncho) / You the weakest link out of your clique, let's keep it a hundo, n***a (One hundred)," Brown sings.

"R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only real one that got true respect / Crazy how when he died, everybody really wished it was you instead (Oh s**t, brrah) / You trippin', Chris, don't say that, don't lose your head (Damn)."

Weeks before the release of "Weakest Link," Brown made a snide remark against Quavo in his song "Freak," Billboard reported.

"F*****g my old b*****s ain't gone make us equal/ Sipping that 1942 'cause I don't do no Quavo/ Freak b***h she like Casamigos, not the Migos," read a portion of the lyrics.

The outlet claimed the viral lyrics seemingly hinted at Quavo's romantic ties to Karrueche Tran, whom Brown dated for four years prior.

Brown and Quavo were friends before the beef. They even collaborated on Brown's "Whippin," released in 2016, and Migos' 2015 song "Just For Tonight."

The beef between the two musicians allegedly started when the Migos rapper was spotted with Tran. She had an on-again, off-again relationship with Brown in the early 2010s but filed a restraining order against the "Superhuman" singer in May 2017.

A month earlier, Tran sparked dating rumors with Quavo after they were seen leaving a Migos concert in Mississippi together. Brown felt betrayed when Quavo started dating Tran, according to TMZ.

At the time, Brown helped promote Migos' album "Culture," but later, he discovered that Quavo was secretly seeing his ex-girlfriend. The outlet noted that Brown considered Migos "my real friends and brothers."

"I will never hate on you n****s," Brown added before his falling out with Quavo.
