Prince Harry was angry when his father, King Charles, decided to evict him from Frogmore Cottage, a royal expert has claimed.

Months after the Duke of Sussex released his memoir "Spare," his dad asked him and his wife, Meghan Markle, to vacate their official residence in London -- Frogmore Cottage. Although he agreed, Prince William's younger brother was reportedly "furious" with His Majesty's decision.

"Harry was absolutely furious and in tears about being evicted from Frogmore - he felt his father had no right to do it and that it was purely vindictive," royal expert Tom Quinn, a biographer and commentator, told the Mirror.

Quinn also claimed that Prince Harry "couldn't see that choosing to stop being a working royal would inevitably mean being deprived of his royal residence." So, he saw his father's decision as a "cruel rejection."

"Harry took it as a cruel rejection -- a painful reminder of all that he felt when his father fought with his mother during their long drawn out, painful divorce."

The royal expert continued, "Whenever Charles puts his foot down, it seems unfair to Harry who feels that after everything that has happened to him, he should always get whatever he wants whether that be security paid for by the British taxpayer or a luxurious UK home."

Quinn concluded that while many saw Prince Harry as a "poor little rich kid behaving like a spoiled brat," Markle's husband had a different perspective about the whole ordeal.

"Harry sees himself as the eternal victim," Quinn said.

Prince Harry's eviction from Frogmore Cottage resurfaced after he updated his records and listed the United States as his new country of residence. He made the changes at about the same time that King Charles asked him to vacate the residence.

Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths, editor at large at Mail on Sunday, weighed in on the matter. She told GB News that Markle's husband was "spiteful," and he did it to "troll" his father.

"To me, it feels like he's trolling his dad a bit because he could have said that he's been a US resident since 2020 when he quit the UK and moved to the States, but instead, he chose the exact day that his dad kicked him out of Frogmore," Griffiths said.

"The reason his dad kicked him out of Frogmore was because he'd slagged off Camilla in 'Spare.' And apparently, it was a really difficult decision for Charles because no dad wants to kick their son out of their home. But he went beyond the pale."
