Tom Cruise surprised many people with his breakdance routine at Victoria Beckham's birthday party, according to a report.

The "Mission: Impossible" star was among the celebrities invited to Victoria's lavish 50th birthday celebration in London on Saturday night. Although he was a surprise guest, his attendance wasn't a complete shock. Cruise has known the Beckhams for 20 years. Victoria's husband, David Beckham, even "idolizes" the actor, the Daily Mail reported.

Victoria and her guests enjoyed a formal sit-down dinner at the start of the gathering. However, the "Top Gun" actor was reportedly one of the most enthusiastic performers in the crowd of 120 when they hit the dance floor.

The 61-year-old Hollywood star wore a full black tie, including a waistcoat. He performed a "breakdance" routine that culminated in the splits.

"People were absolutely dumbfounded," one guest said, per the outlet.

Unfortunately, the Beckhams strictly banned the cameras at the event. It's also thought that no one sneaked photos.

Although a number didn't expect Cruise's performance, it's not a complete surprise since the actor had been seen showing off his dance moves on screen in his previous films. In his breakout 1983 film "Risky Business," Cruise slid across the floor in his underwear and socks to Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock & Roll."

Cruise showed off his talent in dancing once more in "Tropic Thunder." In the film, he played producer Les Grossman and grooved to Ludacris' "Get Back."

Victoria was reportedly pleased with the success of her birthday party and was "moved" by the turnout, which included her celebrity pals -- chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, actress Eva Longoria and musician Marc Anthony, who flew from Miami with his wife, Nadia.

"The Eternals" star Salma Hayek was also in attendance. She arrived with her fashion icon husband, Francois-Henri Pinault. Other guests included Vogue editor Edward Enninful, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her husband, Jason Statham.

The birthday celebrant's fellow Spice Girls members Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Melanie C also showed up, and all five even did an impromptu performance of their hit song "Stop."

Victoria and David's children -- Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12 -- were all present. However, Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz, skipped the event.

Peltz seemingly addressed her absence at the event by sharing a photo of her hugging her grandmother on her Instagram Story on Saturday.

"My world in my arms," Peltz wrote.

"Happy Birthday to my beautiful MIL @victoriabeckham. I'm so sad I'm not there to celebrate you and hug you! Sending all my love from me and naunni. I miss you all so much," she wrote in a subsequent post with a photo of the Beckhams from the party.
