Quavo Drops Chris Brown Diss Track Amid Ja Rule's Call To End Rapper Feuds
The beef between Quavo and Chris Brown continues to heat up despite Ja Rule's call to end all the feuds between rappers.
Over the weekend, Jeffrey Bruce Atkins Sr., better known as Ja Rule, took to X, formerly Twitter, to share his thoughts on the ongoing feuds in the hip-hop scene.
"Hip-hop is a family... and no one wins when the family feuds. Don't let that go over your head. #hiphopvseverybody," he tweeted.
However, two days after his call for peace in the rap community, Quavo, real name Quavious Keyate Marshall, dropped a new diss track on YouTube in response to Chris Brown's "Weakest Link."
The "No Brainer" rapper released "Over H**s & B****es" and even used a controversial photo for the cover -- an illustration of him choking the "King of R&B."
In the new diss track, the former Migos member references Brown's "violent abusive history, losses to multiple rappers and him being an exotic dancer."
"P**** n****, pull up, crash about your bae / Lil' b****, come dance battle with my drac' (Brrt) / You been f***ed your bag up when you punched Ri' in the face / Talking about fashion week, you sparing who? / Come punch me in my face (P****)," he raps in the track.
"You was the greatest, n****, you fumbled / Going out sad, I'm watching you crumble."
"Over H**s & B****es" is Marshall's response to the "Under the Influence" artist's diss track "Weakest Link," featuring "insults aimed at undermining Quavo's credibility and character" and questioning the rapper's "toughness and authenticity.
"Quavo talkin' like he a thug, n**** / You a b**** with dreads / Can't wait to see the day / that you back up all of that s*** you said," Brown raps in his song.
"You the weakest link out of your clique / Let's keep it a hundo, n**** / You f***ed my ex-ho, that's cool / I don't give no f***, lil' n****a."
Before this, Brown released "Freak," where he shaded Quavo for dating his ex, Karrueche Tran.
"F***ing my old b****es ain't gonna make us equal / Sipping that 1942 'cause I don't do no Cuevo [Quavo] / Freak b**** she like Casamigos, not the Migos."
In response, Quavo fired back and released "Tender" with the lines, "You did the b**** gone, she posted with a thug."
"Tell me, 'lil bro, what's you issue? It's over a thot / You said it's bigger than that, but no, it is not / It's cause I be diggin' in that, it got 'em hot. I'm given' respect, but I know you not / Your b**** on my neck, your b**** at the spot."
