The Wanted 'We Own The Night' VIDEO Release, 'Glad You Came' Singers Party & Kiss Girls
The Wanted's band members party it up in their latest video for We Own The Night, released on Sunday.
"May our hearts be full like our drinks tonight. May we sing and dance till we lose our minds. We are young if we seize the night," the group sings. "Tonight we own the night."
In the video, all the group members - Max George, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykes - live up to those lyrics. They have fun in a pub and are also seen smooching certain ladies. George even kisses more than one female in the video, including one who is much older than him.
"We just hired out a pub and got a load of friends and lot of people that we know and had a lot of fun that day. We like to have fun on our videos," Sykes told MTV News about the video. "We don't like doing videos that are boring."
Sykes also explained what else the band aimed for with its new clip.
"This video we really just wanted to go back being The Wanted and have a video along the lines of Glad You Came, which is all about have a lot of fun with a load of good-looking girls, which is awesome," he added.
We Own The Night is the newest single from the band's upcoming album Word of Mouth. The band's third album will be available in September.
The group's most popular song to date is Glad You Came, which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard after it was released in 2011. The Wanted's newest singles didn't obtain the same success. I Found You only managed to peak at No. 89 and Chasing The Sun went to No. 50 on the charts.
Perhaps The Wanted's luck will change with the new single.
"We are still climbing the @itunesmusic charts! About to crack the top 100. Keep spreading the word #BuyWeOwnTheNight," the band tweeted on Monday.
