Last month, the Duchess of Sussex unveiled her latest lifestyle brand, quickly garnering a substantial following on Instagram. Despite the fact that the brand has yet to begin retailing, it is anticipated to offer a diverse array of merchandise, encompassing household goods, culinary utensils, pet essentials, gardening implements, beverages, comestibles, and condiments.

Meghan's decision to launch American Riviera Orchard could potentially expose her to criticism, with detractors contending that she is disregarding regulations established by the royal family, according to reports.

Royal protocols explicitly prohibit family members from engaging in promotional activities or associating themselves with commercial partnerships and sponsorships. Furthermore, the new brand prominently features Meghan's royal title of Duchess of Sussex, as evidenced by its Instagram profile.

Meghan, 42, may not only encounter resistance from the royal family but also attracting attention from the Hollywood lifestyle mogul Martha Stewart.

Speculation suggests that within the initial weeks of the American Riviera Orchard's debut, Meghan could rake in a six-figure income, propelling her into the lifestyle sector and prompting parallels with established figures like Stewart.

However, according to an insider speaking to 'In Touch,' the 82-year-old is reportedly not pleased with being likened to the Duchess.

The source stated: "Martha has seen hundreds of Meghan types come and go — and says they all come in with the same self-inflated hype, only to find out it's a whole new ball game when it comes down to brass tacks."

The insider added: "She's tired of being quizzed by people over how she feels about Meghan's venture because, honestly, it's irritating and insulting to her that she's being compared to a rookie."

The source also said that Martha worked for "decades building her brand", continuing: "If Meghan thinks she can come along and replicate that with barely any experience simply because she's married to a Prince, she better think again.

"Martha doesn't put a whole lot of faith in her succeeding, but if she does prove to be any competition, Martha won't hold back in trying to take her down."
