Former first lady Melania Trump turns 54 today amid her husband Donald Trump's hush money trial.

Although Trump hasn't addressed why Melania isn't present during his trial to show support, the 45th president stood in front of television cameras and journalists to wish his wife of 19 years a Happy Birthday.

"I want to start by wishing my wife Melania a very happy birthday," Trump, 77, began. "It'd be nice to be with her, but I'm at a courthouse for a rigged trial."
