Kate Middleton and Prince William are commemorating their wedding anniversary by sharing a glimpse into their momentous day.

April 29 marked the 13th year since the Prince and Princess of Wales exchanged vows, prompting the release of an exclusive photograph from their nuptials to honor the occasion.

"13 years ago today!" exclaimed the picture's caption which was posted on various social media platforms.

The newly revealed black-and-white picture captured Prince William, 41, and Princess Kate beaming as they stood side by side. The bride is pictured clutching her bouquet predominantly composed of lily of the valley, which happens to be Queen Elizabeth's beloved flower.

Radiant in Queen Elizabeth's Cartier Halo Tiara and an exquisite white V-neck gown with lace detailing by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Kate, 42, exuded elegance during the church service at Westminster Abbey. Prince William underwent a wardrobe change following the ceremony. Initially attired in the scarlet tunic of the Irish Guards, as he held the esteemed position of Colonel in Chief at the time — a role later assumed by Princess Kate in 2022— he later transitioned into the black uniform of the Blues and Royals, as depicted in the newly unveiled photograph.

The credit for the new image was attributed to Millie Pilkington, an accomplished portrait photographer known for her work capturing significant moments for the royal family. Pilkington recently photographed King Charles and Queen Camilla to commemorate the first anniversary of their coronation. She also photographing William and Kate's three children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — for their birthday portraits last year.

Pilkington also took to Instagram to express her joy on the occasion of the Prince and Princess of Wales' anniversary.

"Wishing the @princeandprincessofwales the very happiest wedding anniversary," she wrote. "Can't believe it is 13 years ago almost to the hour, that I took this portrait. So excited and honored that they should wish to share it."
