Tristan Thompson Sued For $53K For 'Unjust Enrichment' For Allegedly Not Keeping Up His End Of An Endorsement
Tristan Thompson is being sued for allegedly not keeping up his end of an endorsement deal.
According to legal documents obtained by RadarOnline, the Cleveland Cavaliers player was sued by Luxury Outdoor Solutions (LOS) for allegedly failing to meet the agreements in his contract after he was given free outdoor furniture.
In exchange for the household furniture, the father of four reportedly agreed to provide photos of the furniture stationed in his backyard, editorial exposure in 'Architectural Digest,' and a minimum of one Instagram Story account crediting the company. They allege they entered the agreement in June 2023.

The company, a "leading teak furniture and outdoor furniture manufacturer," according to their website, claims the 33-year-old received over 15 outdoor chairs, an outdoor sofa, two coffee tables, two chess side tables, an outdoor club chair, four sun loungers, a side table, plus more. Reportedly, he was to showcase the items in his $13 million dollar Hidden Hills, California, mansion.
Thompson, according to the lawsuit, was given until December 2023 to share his social media posts and land an editorial feature, but reportedly did not.
He's being sued for breach of contract and unjust enrichment. They are seeking $53,173 in damages.
Thompson has yet to respond to the lawsuit in court.
In other Thompson news, the NBA baller was suspended in January 2024 without pay for violating the league's anti-drug program, CNN reports.
In a statement issued by the NBA, the Canada native was suspended for "violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program by testing positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033."
The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently battling the Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The series is currently tied 2-2.
