Angelina Jolie Doesn’t Enjoy ‘Singles Scene’ In New York; Actress Is ‘Impossibly Picky’ And ‘Paranoid’: Report
Angelina Jolie is allegedly "paranoid" when it comes to dating, an unnamed insider has claimed.
Jolie, 48, has been single for years following her split from ex-husband, Brad Pitt, 60, in 2016. The "Maleficent" actress allegedly doesn't enjoy being single but has a hard time finding a potential partner. An unnamed source told In Touch that she met some suitors among the theater crowd as a producer of the Broadway adaptation of "The Outsiders," "but nothing has worked out."
"She's impossibly picky and has all sorts of baggage from the Brad situation," the tipster claimed. "Plus, she's so paranoid and intense. It's very hard for her to let down her guard with anyone. It's more like she's interviewing them for a job. And when she does find a guy she likes, she has a long list of rules and NDAs for them to sign, which is not how people roll."

Due to Jolie's attitude, she's allegedly met with an overwhelming lack of interest from men. The insider claimed it was difficult for single men to qualify for her rigorous requirements. However, the celebrity mom is hopeful to eventually find her "the one" someday.
"She worried it would be a nightmare, and it's turning out to be just as bad as she expected," the insider added. "She's not giving up, but it's safe to say she's not enjoying the singles scene in New York."
Jolie was romantically linked to The Weeknd in 2021 after they were spotted enjoying dinner twice. An unnamed insider told People at the time that they had known each other "for some time."

The duo reportedly had a shared bond over Ethiopia. The "Blinding Lights" hitmaker partnered with the World Food Program U.S. and donated $1 million in relief efforts to the country. On the other hand, the "Salt" actress adopted her daughter Zahara from the same country and launched The Zahara Program to help girls there.
The Weeknd fueled the romantic rumors between him and Jolie when he released his single "Here We Go...Again" in January 2022. In the track, he sings, "My new girl, she a movie star." However, neither confirmed that they were dating, and a month after that, he was seen kissing DJ Simi Khadra.
While Jolie has remained single, her ex-husband, Pitt, has been dating Ines de Ramon, 34, for over a year already. In February, an unnamed insider said that the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star and the jewelry executive were already living together in his home in California.
"They were spending so much time together at Brad's that it just made sense for Ines to move in with him," the anonymous source claimed. "Brad's very happy and loves spending time with her. Moving in together was a natural thing."
