The brother of beloved singer Selena Quintanilla took to social media to apologize after lashing out on fans during the Tejano Explosion 2024 Music Festival.

In the now-deleted video, AB Quintanilla III says he regretted his behavior in San Antonio, revealing he was forced to stop taking his mental health meds due to a recent cancer scare some weeks prior, per TMZ.

AB, 60, was reportedly displeased by the crowd's response to his band and quickly became noticeably upset.

"[It's like] someone put a gun to your head and forced you to be here tonight," AB says in the now viral clip. "You guys come here and you can't even raise your f******g hands, and clap... or be happy. You know, and that feels sad for us, that's for me. I'lll take my music somewhere else."

According to the media outlet, frustrated fans even started to verbally spar with AB, some even spewing verbal insults, and booing. The bass guitar player was eventually escorted out of the event.

During his apology, he stated that ever since the death of his sister his mental health took a sharp decline, informing fans that he now suffers from OCD, ADD, and PTSD. "I'm on the spectrum basically, for people who understand that," the musician stated.
