Fox, 59, who is starring in the upcoming flick 'Not Another Church Movie' with Foxx, addressed the wild speculations during a recent press stop.

"They were even checking for tattoos on the back of his head. It makes you laugh," she said. "I mean, that's all you can do really, is laugh at the ridiculousness of it, that Jamie Fox got cloned and came back."

The Indiana native continued in jest: "But, you know, Jamie would be down for it 'cause he'd have his clone working, he would. I mean, he has so many jobs, the guy works constantly."

When asked how Foxx, 56, was holding up currently, the 'Set it Off' actress said "from what I know, fantastic. You know Jamie is such a gift, he's so talented and it's crazy that this is the second comedy that we've done together, we did 'Booty Call' years ago and now here we are doing this."

She continued: "Jamie has so many more gifts to give and from what we can see, he's healthy and happy."

In April 2023, Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne Fox revealed her father had been hospitalized due to an unspecified medical emergency. To date, nothing more has really been revealed about exactly what happened.

Foxx, real name Eric Marlon Bishop, was awarded the AAFCA's Producers Award at the African American Film Critics Association's annual luncheon.

"Cherish life, man. I have some people in my life that really made sure I was here, because it was dire straits. So I value, I'm telling you," he said. "My daughter thinks sometimes I'm too thankful, nowadays. Because I'm just so thankful. I was drinking some water, 'Wow, have you tasted this water? It's so wet! This is the wettest water. Was it like this before I passed away?' "

The Academy Award winner promised he would address his health ordeal publically in a "funny way" on "the stage."

"It'll be called, 'What Had Happened Was,' and it's got all the things that happened, especially on our side of our community," he said.

The Texas native has since fully recovered and returned to work.

'Not Another Church Movie' follows the character Taylor Pherry who "is commanded by God to write a movie inspired by his crazy, dysfunctional family, but the Devil has his own devious plans in this hilarious spoof comedy," according to IMDb.

The movie, starring Tisha Campbell alongside Fox and Foxx, will be release on May 10, 2024.
