Prince William Gives Rare Update About Kate Middleton, Kids Amid Her Cancer Battle
Prince William shared an update about his family on his recent outing.
The Prince of Wales dropped by at James' Place Newcastle in England on April 30. Well-wishers welcomed him during the visit, with one of them asking the royal about his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children -- Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6.
"Do you mind if I ask how your wife and children are?" a woman asked the heir to the throne in a video shared on Instagram.
"We're all doing well, thank you," Prince William replied.
"And obviously Catherine?" the woman asked again.

Prince William doubled down on his initial response, assuring the woman his family was fine.
"We're all doing well," he reiterated.
The clip received several responses from royal fans. Many were relieved that the Princess of Wales and the kids were fine. However, many found the question offensive and rude, with several saying it was inappropriate.
"That question was rude," one said.
Another added, "How intrusive."
"How dare they ask Prince William like that!! Such disrespect towards him putting him in the spot. He answered her politely, then she pushed further speaking Catherine's name. Geez lady!!!!!" another said.
"Nosey!!! I know people think it's caring, send your well wishes yes, but keep pressing someone? No!" another commenter wrote.
Prince William's visit to northeast England included a stop at the 2022 Earthshot Prize finalist Low Carbon Materials and mental health organization James' Place. It was his third time moving forward with his royal engagements since the Duchess of Cambridge announced on March 22 that she was diagnosed with cancer.
Prince William took a break from his royal duties for weeks after his wife's cancer announcement. He only resumed his work a day after their children returned to school, People reported.
In his first official engagement on April 18, Prince William was surprised when a volunteer at food distribution charity Surplus to Supper gave him cards for Middleton and King Charles. King Charles also confirmed his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
"Oh, some cards, you're very kind. Thank you very much," William told volunteer Rachel Candappa in a video shared to X by Lizzie Robinson of ITV.
Candappa, 71, told Prince William to take care of his wife. He assured her by placing a hand on her should that he would.
"I will," Prince William said, per The Telegraph.
Prince William and Middleton celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29. They marked the event by sharing a never-seen-before black and white wedding photo.
The post received mixed reactions, with many saying they were scared. One shared that they almost had a heart attack after seeing the picture due to fear that something terrible happened. Some also said it was a beautiful photo since black and white shots are aesthetic.
