Mariah The Scientist Mugshot Goes Viral After Battery Arrest Over Alleged Unprovoked Attack
Another female artist was busted by cops recently, and like Sukihana, her mugshot is going viral online.
Mariah The Scientist was arrested and booked by the Fulton County police in Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday over a battery charge stemming from a bar brawl in March.
A snap of her mugshot was posted on The Shade Room's Instagram account and now has over 257,000 likes and 8,500 comments in just four hours.
According to police files obtained by TMZ, on March 29, a woman arrived at the Zone 2 precinct to report that she was attacked by the 26-year-old singer the previous night inside the Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail in Roswell Road in Atlanta.
The alleged victim, Cleopatra Dues, claimed Mariah ripped her wig off and dragged her across the bar, leaving her with injuries on her legs and feet.
Dues claims the whole beating was unprovoked and that she did not have any interaction with Mariah or her group that night.
She said she left the scene shortly after and called 911.
Videos of the scuffle also made it to social media, although it's unclear if it is the "Dark Days" singer seen in the clips.
Information found on the Fulton County Sheriff's Office's arrest search portal shows the singer, real name Mariah Amani Buckles, was arrested on May 1 on a simple battery charge and was released the same day after posting bail.
