Kevin Hart Expects 'To Lose The Relationship' With Tom Brady After Netflix Roast
Kevin Hart jokingly said he was expecting the Netflix roast to end his friendship with Tom Brady.
On Sunday, Hart spoke with Entertainment Tonight while on the carpet for Netflix's "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady." Hart was joined by Jeff Ross, Bill Belichick, Will Ferrell and more in roasting Brady, who was a good sport. However, Hart said he wasn't expecting to remain on the former quarterback's close friends list after all the jokes on the show.
"I'm being mean today," he told ET's Kevin Frazier. "I'm not nice Kevin today... I'm expecting to lose the relationship with Tom after today. I've already come in with that."
"I don't think he has a real idea of, you know, what the world of roasting is, so it's going to get a little ugly, but it's in fun!" Hart added. "And I think the world needs this. The world needs to see some, you know, some -- some cross-the-line humor that's done with a tasteful approach where people are having a good time on both sides."
The panel of roasters could say anything to poke fun at the retired footballer. Hart said he couldn't speak for others because it was a live event, but "you have to be able to grab -- you got to -- you got to go and make the uncomfortable comfortable."
"Tom knows I love him. He knows all my stuff is coming from a place of fun and good heart, but I do have a job to do. I have a job to do," he added.
Hart poked fun at Brady's failed marriage to Gisele Bündchen. He also seemingly warned the former athlete that he would ruin his "f*****g Sunday" after he ruined Sundays for footballs for over 20 years.
"Single life is what you deserve because you had no choice," Hart said, per The Hollywood Reporter. "Gisele gave you an ultimatum. Gisele said, 'You retire or we're done.'... Let me tell you something: When you got a chance to go eight and nine, and all it will cost you is your wife and your kids, you gotta do what the f**k you gotta do. ... You know what that's called, Tom? That's called real s**t. F**k them kids."

He also targeted Bündchen's relationship with her current boyfriend Joaquim Valente, who was her and their kids' jiu-jitsu instructor.
"You understand, you sometimes gotta f**k your coach. You know who else f****d that coach? Gisele. She f****d that karate man," Hart joked.
"What an i***t. I mean, Jesus Christ, Tom, one of the smartest quarterbacks ever played a game. How did you not see this coming? Eight f*****g karate classes a day. ... The only bruises she had were on her a*s. Everybody should have known it."
Meanwhile, Nikki Glaser acknowledged Brady's accomplishment onstage but didn't miss to comment on his achievements.
"Five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns. You have seven rings. Well, eight, now that Gisele gave hers back," Glaser said.
"But seriously, Tom .. you're the best to ever play for too long. I mean, you retired, then you came back and then you retired again. I mean, I get it. It's hard to walk away from something that's not your pregnant girlfriend [Bridget Moynahan]. To be fair, he didn't know she was pregnant. He just thought she was getting fat, and Tom hates fat."
In the promo for the show, Brady appears to downplay being the subject of the roasting.
"No f****n' problem," he says. "I'm un-roastable."
"The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady" streams on Netflix starting May 5.
