Brian McKnight's Sons 'Of Sin' Showcase Angelic Voices On Stage With Dad In Resurfaced Video
A video of Brian McKnight and his eldest sons, Brian Jr. and Niko, performing as a family has resurfaced as the singer faces backlash for calling his now-estranged children "the product of sin."
The resurfaced footage, which was originally posted almost 14 years ago, showed the singer and his sons on stage performing McKnight's hit song "6, 8, 12" at the City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California, on Dec. 16, 2010, according to the video's description.
McKnight played the piano, while Brian Jr. stood beside him, and Niko sat next to their father.
Brian Jr. and Niko proved they inherited their dad's vocal chops as they showcased their angelic voices during the performance.
At one point, Niko and McKnight teased Brian Jr. after he impressed concertgoers with his run.
"That's your boy," Niko told their dad.
McKnight joked, "When you give a n**** an inch...," triggering laughter from the crowd.
Another video from years ago showed McKnight and his sons singing the national anthem at a NASCAR event in 2012.

McKnight and his eldest sons, whom he shares with ex-wife Julie, performed together as a group called McKnight and even released an album together, according to People.
Brian Jr. co-wrote McKnight's song "42," and Niko directed its music video.
In 2009, the "Back at One" crooner gushed over his sons during an interview with SoulCulture.
"They do all the music themselves," McKnight said. "I'm just here to sort of be the executive producer. I'm the most proudest dad on the planet Earth."
However, the singer's relationship with his sons has since soured.
In 2019, Niko claimed that McKnight "abandoned" him and his siblings.
At the time, the singer denied being a deadbeat dad, saying that he has "been there for my children every step of the way until recently."
"I'm not abandoning them. We're estranged," McKnight said.
Last month, McKnight defended his decision to cut off his four oldest biological children and described Brian Jr., Niko, Briana, and Clyde as "evil" and "the product of sin" during an Instagram Q&A.
Niko fired back by accusing his father of allegedly making him clean his used condoms and forging his kids' signatures.
Niko and Brian Jr.'s mother Julie also slammed her ex-husband, likening him to a kid who "throws a tantrum."
After McKnight was called out for not helping his son Niko amid his battle with cancer, the singer responded by claiming in an Instagram video that he did offer help but was blocked by Julie from assisting their son.
McKnight is currently married to Leilani Mendoza, with whom he tied the knot in 2017.
They welcomed their son Brian Kainoa Makoa Jr. in January 2023. They also had a child named Kekoa Matteo who died in infancy,
McKnight also became a stepfather to Leilani's two kids from previous relationships.
