'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 5's Melissa Gorga on Teresa Giudice: ' I Have Her Back' [VIDEO]
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday and discussed her relationship with Teresa Giudice.
During her Aug. 11 interview with host Any Cohen, a fan called into the show and asked Gorga if she spoke to Giudice after she was indicted with 39 charges on July 29. Gorga said she and her sister-in-law are currently in a "much better place."
"Yes, of course I reached out and spoke to Teresa," Gorga told the caller. "She's knows I have her back."
The reality star said the top priority for them is their children and insisted that she and her husband, Joe Gorga, fully support Giudice.
"The kids of course are the number one priority," she said. "That's what Joe and I are here for no matter what," she added.
Cohen showed a clip of the infamous brawl between Gorga's husband, Joe Gorga, and Giudice's husband, Joe Giudice, that occurred during the family retreat. He then asked Melissa how she felt about the experience.

"It was so stressful. I mean, we went from rock bottom to hugging it out, drinking. I had a couple of drinks, I was so relieved that it was better," Gorga told Cohen.
She said the families have continued to remain at peace, which was shown in the past two episodes of season 5. At the moment, they get along and are "better together," she said.
"I feel like everyone likes to see us together, anyway. It's just more fun, it's better, it's easy," she added.
She said the best part about getting along is that their children can spend time together, admitting, "That's the most important part. You know, my husband has one sister."
Teresa and her husband Joe were indicted on 39 charges for a wide range of financial offenses, including IRS bank mortgage loan fraud and wire and loan fraud. The announcement was made on July 29 by U.S. District Attorney Paul J. Fishman. See the full list of charges here.
When the couple appeared in a Newark, N.J. court room on July 30, they were released on $500,000 unsecured bail bonds each, after they were read their rights and list of charges. They will return to court on August 14.
